DESCRIPTION:
The fault code sets when the motor control module (MCM) detects that the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve position in incorrect.

EGR position error.

None

EXECUTION FREQUENCY:
Always enabled

Two seconds

VERIFICATION:
Engine idle

PROBABLE CAUSES:
1. If 110-0 is active, repair this first.
2. Check for EGR exhaust leaks at the EGR valve actuator.
3. Remove the actuator cooler lines and fittings, check for kinks/plugs or leaks.
4. EGR valve actuator failure.
