Fault Code P0219 Overrun

Item To Be Detected:
Engine speed abnormally high

Preconditons When DTC is Set:
1) Key switch input voltage is 18V or more.

DTC Set Condition:
When the engine speed exceeds setting value (depending on the machine manufacturer)

Fault Judgement Period:
Approx. 1 sec.

Behavior When Trouble Occurs:
1) Output lowering
2) Backup: Limited injection amount 1 Limitation is lifted if the speed decreases

Diagnosis Lamp: ON

Recovery From Failure: *2

Possible Causes:
1) Improper operated vehicle.
2) Fault in the engine body.
3) Engine over speed.
