Fault Code P0380 Glow relay fault

Item To Be Detected:
Open/short circuit/damange of relay or harness

Preconditons When DTC is Set:
1) Keyswitch input power supply voltage is higher than 16V but lower than 32V.

DTC Set Condition:
No glow relay monitor signal exists against glow relay drive indication.

Fault Judgement Period:
When trouble occurs 25 out of 30 samples.

Behavior When Trouble Occurs:
1) Operationality is not affected.
2) Back-up: No backup action

Diagnosis Lamp: ON

Recovery From Failure: *1

Possible Causes:
1) Glow relay displays "OFF" or "ON"
2) Looseness or play between the ECM connector, coupling connector, or glow relay.
3) Open circuit, short to ground, or high resistance between the fuse and the glow relay.
4) Short circuit to the power supply circuit or ignition circuit between glow relay and ECM.
5) Open circuit, short to ground, or high resistance between the ECM and the glow relay.
6) Bad Glow relay.
7) Bad ECM.
8) Looseness or play in the connection between the ECM connector and coupling connector.
