Detroit DD13 EPA07 (2007-09) Fault Code: SPN 636 FMI 14 (MCM) Swapped Pins

NOTE: If the sensor is removed, be sure to check the sensor tip for metal debris and clutch material and clean it if necessary.

NOTE: If this SPN and FMI are active, verify that the wiring from crankshaft position (CKP) sensor pin 1 to pin 73 of the motor control module (MCM) 120-pin connector and that the wiring from CKP sensor pin 2 pin of the MCM 120 - pin connector is correct.

PROBABLE CAUSES:
1. Crankshaft sensor connector/harness.
2. Crankshaft sensor.
3. Swapped pins on the connector.
