DESCRIPTION:
Diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) air pressure not detected (from vehicle supply).

MONITORED PARAMETER:
Vehicle air pressure.

TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:
1. Engine rpm is greater than 500.
2. Dosing enabled.

MONITOR SEQUENCE:
None

EXECUTION FREQUENCY:
Continuous when enabling conditions met.

DASH LAMPS:
1. MIL
2. CEL

ENGINE REACTION:
Derate 25%

VERIFICATION:
Selective catalytic reduction (SCR) air pressure test.

PROBABLE CAUSES:
1. Vehicle not reaching 100 PSI.
2. DEF metering unit air pressure sensor.
3. Pressure limiting valve.
4. Flush DEF system.
