Volvo All Engines (2017 Emissions) Fault Code: P25A971 PID: EMS Piston Cooling Oil Control

Circuit description
The engine piston cooling oil supply valve is located in the oil filter housing and is used to control the piston cooling oil pressure. The engine control module (ECM) controls the valve by monitoring the signal from the piston cooling oil pressure sensor. If an electrical fault is detected inside the valve it will be fully open (fail safe).
